Our Practice

Advanced Allergy, Asthma & Immunology specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of allergic and immunologic disorders affecting both children and adults.  Situated in the heart of Spokane Valley, we provide care to patients throughout Eastern Washington (including Spokane, Spokane Valley, Liberty Lake, Tri-Cities (Kennewick, Richland, Pasco), Pullman, Moses Lake), Northern Idaho (including Coeur d'Alene, Sandpoint, Bonners Ferry, and Moscow), and Western Montana (including Missoula and Kalispell).  

 

Our Allergist/Immunologists diagnose and treat the full spectrum of allergic and immunodeficiency disorders, including but not limited to asthma, allergic rhinitis, food allergies, chronic sinusitis, venom allergies, drug reactions, eczema, hives, primary immunodeficiency, and latex allergies.

 

We offer an array of services, including skin testing, immunotherapy (allergy shots), asthma evaluations, including spirometry with current asthma treatments, including biologic therapy. 

Advanced Allergy, Asthma & Immunology accepts most insurance plans. Our knowledgeable staff can answer your questions, whether related to insurance, referrals, or scheduling an appointment, for you to get your medical questions answered.

Our Providers
Ritu Pabby MD
Ritu Pabby, MD

Dr. Ritu Pabby is originally from the East coast and grew up in New Jersey.  She received an undergraduate degree in Biology and graduated cum laude.  She then earned her medical degree from Boston University School of Medicine.  She completed her Internal Medicine residency at Boston Medical Center.  She completed her adult and pediatric Allergy and Immunology fellowship from the University of Rochester Medical Center, in Rochester, NY. She is board-certified in Allergy/Immunology.

 

Dr. Pabby has extensive prior experience in both academic and private practice.  She was on faculty at Allegheny General Hospital, PA, and at Nemours Children’s Clinic, FL.  She has conducted clinical research in allergy, asthma, wheezing, and respiratory infections and has received national grants.  She moved to Spokane in 2015.

 

Dr. Pabby provides comprehensive care for children, adolescents, and adults with the following conditions: asthma, environmental allergies/hay fever, eczema, food and drug allergies, venom allergies, hives, and recurrent infections. She is well trained in managing all other allergy, asthma, and immunology conditions in both the pediatric and adult populations.

 

Outside of practice, Dr. Pabby enjoys outdoor activities, traveling, and spending time with her family. She lives in Liberty Lake with her husband, two daughters, and their baby toy poodle!

David McGarry DO
David McGarry, DO

Dr. David McGarry is a native of Utah.  He received a B.S. in Microbiology from Brigham Young University.  He attended A.T. Still University-Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine where he received his medical degree.  He completed a Pediatric Residency at Akron Children's Hospital in Akron, Ohio.  He completed his Fellowship in Adult and Pediatric Allergy/Immunology through University Hospitals-Cleveland Medical Center in Cleveland, Ohio.  He is board-certified in Pediatrics and Allergy/Immunology.    

 

He has presented at multiple national medical conferences and has served as a speaker at local, state, and national levels. He has had numerous publications in medical journals and textbooks in Allergy and Immunology. 

 

His clinical interests include recurrent infections and primary immunodeficiencies, environmental allergies (allergic rhinitis/hay fever), severe asthma, atopic dermatitis (eczema), food and drug allergies, contact dermatitis, urticaria (hives), and he is comfortable treating all other realms of allergic and immunological diseases in both children and adults.

Dr. McGarry lives in Spokane Valley with his wife and 4 children.  When not practicing medicine, he enjoys flyfishing, hiking, and other outdoor activities.  

Mariya Giles ARNP
Mariya Giles, ARNP


Originally from Vladimir, Russia, Mariya moved to Spokane, WA, in 1999. She graduated Summa Cum Laude from Washington State University with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing before earning her Master’s as a Family Nurse Practitioner from Washington State
University in 2012. She is an active member of the American Academy
of Nurse Practitioners and the American College of Allergy, Asthma & Immunology. She is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.


From 2013 to 2026, Mariya worked as a Nurse Practitioner for the
Spokane Allergy & Asthma Clinic. She joined Advanced Allergy, Asthma & Immunology in June of 2026.

 

Mariya prides herself on providing quality, compassionate, and dedicated care to individuals of all ages. She finds great reward in being part of patients’ health journey and empowering them through
education.

 

Outside of work, Mariya enjoys spending time with her family and friends, hiking, long-distance running, cross-country skiing, and reading. She lives in Spokane Valley with her husband, two daughters, and their Shih Tzu.
