Tezspire injections for
Severe Asthma and Nasal Polyps
What is Tezspire?
Tezspire (tezepelumab) is a prescription medicine used to treat chronic severe asthma in patients who have not responded well to asthma medications, including high doses of combination medicines such as Advair, Dulera, Symbicort, Breo, or Trelegy. Tezspire is now approved for the treatment of nasal polyps. Tezspire is therapy administered in our office every 4 weeks.

What is Tezspire indicated for?
Tezspire is indicated for individuals 12 years of age and older with severe asthma who have not responded to other medications.
How does Tezspire work?
Tezspire helps to reduce inflammation brought on by your body's overreaction to triggers. Various triggers, including allergens, infection, smoke, or weather changes, can cause the release of alarmins within the lungs. One of these alarmins, thymic stromal lymphopoietin (TSLP), is a key regulator that enhances inflammatory responses. Tezspire works to target and block TSLP to reduce inflammation, providing better asthma control and helping prevent asthma attacks.
